On this evening, we wish to honour the memory of the brilliant Scottish whisky bard Robin Laing. Over the years, he became a friend to many of us. A truly wonderful man passed away in December 2025.

My songs and stories are inspired by the myths surrounding Single Malt Whisky.

Thomas Ewers and MALTS OF SCOTLAND in Scotland have been voted the world’s best whiskey bottler by the Scottish whiskey magazine several times. In 2016 he was even named “Keeper of the Quiach” – chosen by Scottish keepers.
